Hi, there is a drip from the multi block whenever the hot water is heating. Recharging the air gap helps a bit, but I want a proper solution. As you can see there is bugger all space.

Is this a normal compression joint? As you can see it is not the normal style nut. I've tried nipping it up a bit. Next stage I guess would be some sealing compound but wanted to check if it's some unusual joint.

I was thinking of removing the current elbow and replacing with a street elbow? Any other suggestions?

Thanks

Get the unvented serviced properly by a qualified engineer. Unvented cylinders are not a DIY appliance. The ones with the internal bubble are the only (edit) ones that can have that restored by the client but nothing else on the unit. Anything else should be serviced by someone qualified. These appliances should be serviced yearly.

If the Pressure Relief Valve (PRV) is lifting or passing then it needs to be understood why. Is it lifting due to a current expansion issue or if it has lifted due to an expansion issue in the past and now that has been rectified the valve won't seal back up. There could be a number of different solutions but it all depends on root cause.

The fact that the PRV outlet is leaking is a supplemental problem but if the outlet is leaking then the PRV is still passing and that needs fixed.
