Multinational forced to pay some tax

Again, why is home ownerships in both countries almost the same if houses are so bloody affordable?
A = because more people rent in France

it’s cheaper there

“Rent prices are approximately 20% lower on average in France than in Brexit Britain And mortgage rates are currently very favourable too.”

Where could the U.K. not trade when it was an EU member?

whilst we were in the Single Market the shops were full of goods from China, India, Vietnam, Australia, America, Thailand, etc etc etc

So come on please tell us where the UK couldn’t trade.
Whichever country that didn't meet eu trade terms and conditions which Britain was subjected to, therefore hampering Britain making its own trade deals with countries round the world on Britain's terms.
Kinda obvious notch?

No supply and demand are the only thing that affects affordability
false argument, lots of factors can influence affordability other than natural supply / demand

eg In the U.K. loads of property investors buy into the market to use as investment.
So loads of empty properties in !ondon

that distorts demand.

a Meaningless meme is not evidence

this is evidence:

Broken Brexit Britain:

The rental market in the UK is experiencing a frenzy of activity, as letting agents report an average of 25 enquiries from prospective tenants for every property on offer.

And the chief executive of the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA), Ben Beadle, says the figures come as landlords see their lowest profits since 2006 and there are ‘no winners’.

how did not being able to make our own trade deals hamper trade?

its own trade deals with countries round the world on Britain's terms
Oh yeah, so please point out to me which trade deal we have signed has been on our own terms?

this will be amusing :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

Kinda obvious notch?

kinda stupid

UK can’t make trade deals on its own terms

when U.K. left EU it became a medium sized economy desperate for trade deals, that gave it no leverage.

as an EU member we were part of an economic trade bloc with real leverage being as the EU is an economic superpower with gdp similar to China and USA.

as U.K. plc we don’t have that leverage anymore and we now have no ability to shape policy in the EU which is our largest trade partner by a country mile

Houses in France, and Europe generally are not seen as investments as they are here

This was your example, they aren't in the top 1% paying 28% of all income tax - some 1/2 a million of us, who get fed up hearing about how they should pay more, from people who pay hardly any. Which %ile do you fit in?

I see you are very reluctant to admit that some of the richest people pay a lower percentage of tax on the money they pull in, than people do who get less.

Because the tax system has been designed to favour the rich.

The whole tax system needs a full overhaul.

But it won't get done whilst those who benefit the most from it are in charge of it

average house €160,000 average.

more affordable than Brexit Britain.
In France?

Average price of house in Lithuania is only €3,092. More affordable that their European partner, ****ed up France.
