Hear, hear!

Why are you two concerned about what tax is paid to the Italian authorities? Have you nothing else to worry about or do you just both have a hatred of Airbnb?

If you are familiar with the rules in Italy. Airbnb, copped responsibility to withhold tax on behalf of their host customers and pay it directly to the authorities. A bit like withholding tax on US stock dividends. They failed to do it, so have to pay the bill. It's not actually taxes on their corporate affairs they were in dispute over. They simply hadn't applied local tax rules "renters tax". I suspect they will be coming after their host customers for the money.

Perhaps they could airbnb a fire engine..

Not to mention it was the hosts who didn't pay the taxes, not Airbnb

In Italy? Unlike you two, I don’t even think about it. Have they got an NHS over there?

Oh mottie you are stupid.

Look at the question you quoted.

Now answer it.
