MW Radio Interference

Hi Can anyone help please?

Ford Mondeo 6 years old had basically from new.

All of a sudden getting buzzing noise/interference on medium wave radio reception only. Tends to be worse when accelerating - can be almost non existent when cruising/coasting.

Getting on my nerves though with the general MW interference this time of year in the evenings etc.

Can anyone tell me what the problem might be and how I might fix?

Is that something I should be able to do myself?

I haven't done that sort of the thing since the 70s but you used to be able to get a suppressor that fitted in-line and only took a couple of minutes. Talk to a shop that fits radios.
