I have a gloworm 24hxi and a danoff timer. I can set the timer and it all seems to light up when it should but .... It will turn the heating and water on but wont switch off again. It will turn off if I switch it off at the boiler. Any ideas?

Never heard of a danoff timer? have you got motorised valves fitted to your system(maybe in airing cupboard). The boiler is getting a signal to fire from external controls.

I do have something in the airing cupboard. I will have to check it out. Does it just need switching off or is it likely to be faulty?

I have just forced my valve open and that means the heating is on!

So I would imagine its a dicky valve actuator

The ones with the removeable actuator ,make it easier to change again second time around, as they go again later if you plan to stay...

now on my 3rd set in since 1994
