My traction control light is on

The older generation 1,2,3 and 4 Haldex had replaceable filters but the generation 5 doesn’t.....it’s on the pump.
If the pump fails then no fault code will be necessarily thrown up so you don’t know if the 4wd system is working or not - until you go through a hedge. Ferkin brilliant, that one

I suppose they don't thinking they've designed it to be non service item.

I'd never been able to pass the emissions test with some of my old cars, with bigger injectors and turbos, cams, decats etc etc

Get a spare set of plates.

Hopefully a final update!
I sent the suspect module to haldexrepairs.co.uk and the boss man Matt phoned me within 3 hours to tell me that there was internal corrosion of the module which had destroyed an EPROM chip and also an oscillator. He sorted the fault and the module was back with me within 12 hours!
The cost all in was £160
Fitted the module today, traction light is off and the 4wd system is operating again. Ive plastered the thing with silicone grease to keep it watertight.

If anyone needs advice or haldex repairs, this is the only guy to see.
If my local garage can sort the pump learning mode, courtesy of VCDS then its a pump gauze clean every 20k maximum for me.
