Myson Apollo 30si ignition sparking when pilot alight

i've got a myson Apollo 30si boiler late eighties.
Goes through the ignition sequence fan comes on and pilot ignites.
it continues to spark repeatedly and main burner wont light.
There are two solenoids on gas valve, i've got 240volts on pilot one and nothing on main burner solenoid.
Air pressure switch has got continuity at all connections, so all points to the board.
I can still get parts for this but very pricey, so would like to be spot on.
Any ideas or similar experiences ?

Yup....call out an rgi who knows what their doing. Sorry gas critical advice not available to diyer's. If you are gas safe registered post this in the CC

It is for your own good. Oh and by the way.....20+ yr old boiler and you want to repair??! You qualify for the scrappage scheme.....it will save you money in the long run

Get it fixed and keep it till you have to put it down
