Myson Apollo making continuous knocking/grinding sound

Hi. For the past couple of days, the Myson Apollo boiler in our rented flat has been making continuous knocking/grinding sound. It's not particularly loud, though sometimes it continues for several minutes after the boiler's been switched off (usually it stops immediately when you switch boiler off).

Can it just be ignored, or should I get it looked at?
