visited a lady friend this evening and found that her gas fire had gone out but there was still gas coming out of the burner. it's a council owned property so before i go ringing them up on her behalf I was wondering if this model should have some sort of device to cut off the gas supply in this situation or if it is probably too old. probably dates from the 70's or thereabouts. TIA
