I read that the op posted months ago that the switch was playing up anyway, I think the way forward is some pics of the switch, model no and its rating and load and sourcing an updated one, may be worth asking lewden for a modern equilavent

I think I'll take Johnw2's advice and look for a local model maker.
 
I think that instead you would be better replacing the switch with something that is a current model with keys available.

What if its switched on and there is a fault, perhaps someone being shocked and it needs to be turned off? Are you going to mess with jerry rigged keys then?

Get it replaced - simples.

Lewden's prefer you to buy a replacement switch - that's what they are in business for - to sell the latest technology - it's a bit like when your mobile's battery fails, it's often cheaper to buy a new phone complete with battery!! :LOL: :LOL: :LOL:
