Clearing out an old tool box from my parents' house and don't know what these two 'things' are. Does anyone recognise them? The smaller one with the square spanner/wrench type head is I think stainless steel and surprisingly heavy. The larger one is I think iron. Neither has any marks of any kind.

Thanks as always!

I'd go for a bike cone spanner, and a lifting device that's used to remove the lid from solid fuel stoves.......
John :)

Now you say that I seem to remember my parents having something similar for either their old coal fired water heater or the fire place (circa 1976-1986 ish).
