533.1.1.2 Fuses having fuse links likely to be removed or replaced by an ordinary person shall be of a type which complies with BS88-3, BS3036 or BS1362... So it appears there is no regulation saying rewireable fuses shouldn't be used.
Well, yes, I think that most of us knew that BS7671 doesn't 'prohibit' it, but I thought you were probably postulating some other rules/regulations/laws which did.
