Yes apparently scottish power or Manweb as we still call them are having issues with a fault on a HV cable.
On friday morning most of the street lighting columns on Middlewich road where out and the fault also affected the supply to a feeder pillar for all of the lights near Davenham roundabout.
There is a substation on Worthing street with a temp generator installed just outside it.
Not sure when the fault(s) will be fixed.
