Hi there - I’m looking to purchase some DANFOSS TRVS.
The range is quite confusing and I wondered if anyone would be kind enough to recommend.
I’m looking for angled valve set pairs (inc lockshield).
Plumbing is standard 15mm copper and new rads will have 1/2 connections.

I quite like the look of the ‘RAS-B² Dynamic TRV’ - a TRV that’s also to balance the system.

Anyone have experience of these ?

Thanks D.

I think I’ll give them a go…………..
Any thoughts or recommendations

I am at the moment on holiday in a caravan, there are two wall thermostats, 8, 18 or 23 degrees C only options, they revert to 8 degs if not touched, and I do wonder even where the boiler is?

I do wonder about TRV control, no TRV in the caravan. And my own house, in the main, radiators on outside walls, so the TRV cooled by the walls. So maybe wall thermostats do a better job? I look at UFH activators and they look like a wired TRV head, but to wire them up in my house would be a nightmare, so sticking with programmable TRV heads, for the moment only one linked to the hub an so the boiler, and it is wait and see time, will 4 thermostats linked to the boiler be enough?

Next job is get to each TRV or close enough so app sees them, and check what the batteries are like, most last 1 or 2 years, Kasa one seems to eat them.

Anyone had any experience of the DANFOSS RAS-B² Dynamic TRV.
…………a good idea or another thing to go wrong ?

Thanks D

They can help if you have balancing issues, if not then a normal TRV will do just fine.
