Need advice removing tank

Need the space as abit short of storage and might b afew months before i get heating fitted also may get abit for the tank :D
Judging by the pic, that cylinder has been there for a few decades, surely a few months is not going to make a lot of difference when you have never been able to use that space for storage.

Tank just supplys hot water to kitchen and bathroom taps no bath as its just a shower room and shower has a switch outside for hot water, stop value is on the outlet after the tank
Not this one - leave the big red wheel alone!
so gonna have to use the one under the sink.
Correct - you need to stop water coming in from the rising main and going up to that ball valve.
Thanks for all the info but will i b able to connect the pipes up when ive had the central heating fitted.

Won't be necessary - the plumber will install new hot water pipes from the combi to where it needs to go. You can ask him to remove any "dead legs" (as we in the trade call them  ) which he'll probably do anyway. You are just decommissioning the cold water tank than feeds the cylinder, as well as the cylinder.
