Need Help!!! Sticky Stuff

Does anyone know of a gel-like material that is sticky and can withstand temperatures exceeding 100oc?

Would heat resistant silicone work? that can hack upto 300oC

what is it you need it for?

My wife makes something similar in her pans and it's a devil of a job to get it off even with boiling water. I'll ask her for the recipe.

I ask because Paul's suggestion would be gel-like and sticky, then would cure. Then, it will resist 300 deg c. But will no longer be "gel-like and sticky".

Yes, it would be ideal for it to remain sticky and solid after 100oc. Thanks for the suggestions

Making a kettle vandal proof is on the top of my list, cant have anybody taking / vandalising my kettle (sorry if im talking about another vandal, kind of a newbie).
