Hi Guys,
I have just brought a new house and the existing owners had a TV on a wall in the kitchen.
I can not quite believe it but they appear to have plastered OVER the cables instead of making a trunking so that cables can be replaced should a new TV be needed.
How is the best way to go about removing these and making the walls good again?
If a plasterer was to chisel out the existing plaster and reskim it, how good would it look.
Any advice? See images below
Thanks
Jason

Easy job to hack out and make good. You can do it yourself using Polyfiller if you like.

Not if you use a sanding block to sand it flush.

hi guys,
just a quick update. had a plasterer around and he said that if i want a tv up their again (which i do) then the best option is to channel out, put some cable trunking in and reskim that wall. he could if i wanted just skim over that area but given the fact the wall isn't that big he thinks for a better finish its the way to do it.
Shame as I just filled in half the wall plugs lol
