Need Vinckier MCB's

Hi,

I have a Vinckier consumer unit in the house, I need some spare MCB's for it. 6/16/32/40 (20?) amp. The markings on them are M6 Type 2 and the amperage.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of them - I've searched the net with no luck.

If they are the ones I am thinking of they are a re-badged GE (General Electric), Rexel Senate do their own re-badged verson. I belive Denmans do too.

MCBs with a numerical type became obsolete years ago. Even if you can find re-badged GE MCBs, check that they will fit your CU - there's no guarantee that they will, any more than there is that modern MEM MCBs, for example, will fit a MEM CU dating from the time when the MCBs were Type 2s....
