Neff Dishwasher not filling up

Hi there,

I have two problems with my Neff Dishwasher, see attached photos. Model: Neff S51E50X2GB Integrated Dishwasher.

Firstly it will not turn off, other than if I turn the plug off.

Secondly, water will not fill up.

2 symbols light up on the display - a tap symbol and a "flow" symbol.

Anyone know what could be causing this problem? As far as I am aware, no taps have been turned on/off.

Are the salt and rinse aid levels ok?

If so, try pouring a jug of water into hole at the bottom and try and run. If no luck it might be a faulty pump.

Tay7 - This worked. Thank you very much.

As you mentioned, I poured hot water down the hole. Then extracted any excess water using a small cup. Then Topped up salt and rinse-aid levels.

Appreciate your help.

I cleaned out the u-bend under my tap anyway and realised how much gunk there was in there! All in all, very useful. Have a good new year.
