Hello wise ones,

As the title says, we've had the oven for 3yrs and on the fan oven setting Mrs Wife reports it's not working as well as it used to. I can feel heat from the fan oven element and the resistance levels are...

Top element outer 34.6ohm
Top element inner 37.8ohm
Fan oven element 34.5ohm
Bottom element 47.2ohm

What's the view of these resistance levels? Could the resistance level of the fan oven element be causing issues?

I have already changed the thermostat.

Thanks all

Stu

So an update. It looks like she's only ever run the oven on the fan cooker setting, and not the correct one to cook properly. Following JJ4091's copy of the instructions she now got it working properly and is a happy person. I, on the other hand, and spending the time counting up the cost of the thermostat I replaced for no reason, and the additional cost of eleccy as its been cooking so slowly. Don't know who I'm kidding, it'll still be my fault of course;):giggle:

Appreciate all your help guys.

Stu
