Neighbours errecting a 12-14 toy hut

Didn't mean to mislead, but I thought there was a difference between temporary and permanent structures, which is why people often do not need planning permission for summerhouses, home offices in the garden etc...
As FMT said, there is no distinction between temporary and permanent structures & the height of a boundary fence has nothing to do with it. Regulations introduced in 2008 allow the erection of outbuildings without Planning Permission under permitted development but they must conform to certain criteria which are clearly specified & providing your permitted development rights have not been either previously used up or withdrawn. Under some circumstances, an outbuilding will also require Building Regulations Approval; it’s all on the Planning Portal. ;)

Make them remove the Tree House and they`ll get a trampoline  Then they will teach the kids -the 1 finger salute - and all you`ll see is "fingers" bouncing up and down over your hedge  -- Who would behave like that to their neighbours

A raised platform above 300mm high requires planning permission. I have just had to get planning permision for a 1m high deck.
