Hi. Just a quick one. I have an old 20A DP switch with a neon light, are the small wires going to these normally loose? Its tight at the neon side, just from their own terminal it was loose. Cheers

The holes for the neon wires are sometimes push-fit and may wiggle side to side, also the insulating sleeving is often quite large which may confuse the issue.
Its not unheard of for people thinking the flickering is caused by a loose connection, when its quite normal for the neon to flicker, more so when they get old.
As sunray says the older ones used to push in a hole and can easily pop out a bit, but usually caused when being fitted
