Bet your all sick of these questions!!

I have an Ideal Logic Plus sytem boiler which was installed last year. The boiler is currently driven by a Horstmann CentaurPlus C27 programmer with a Salus wireless thermostat for CH. The hot water is controlled by the timer and a Honeywell L641A cylinder thermostat.

After reading lots of posts on here I thought I had it down but after removing the timer from the wall I found a wire in port one that has completely thrown me. The cable is green and yellow but is sleaved in a brown sheath as can be seen in the attached picture

. Not at all sure what this is for???

Any help/suggestions grateful received.

That wire is in the hot water off terminal, so it's probably used for that...
