We have just had a new boiler installed and Nest thermostat. Boiler is heat and hot water not a combi boiler. We have set the heat and hot water schedule on the app. However the heating has come on but on the schedule it should be off. We cannot work out why the heating would come one when we’ve scheduled it to be off. Any ideas please? It’s so frustrating!

Does it behave properly when not using the schedule?
I.e. turning Nest up to 24°C will turn the heating on, and turning it below 16°C will turn it off?
Does the schedule shown on the app match the one displayed on the Nest itself?
As the system is brand new, Nest can go through a learning phase, when it discovers how long your house will take to get up to temperature. This may cause some odd behaviour to start with.
There are also eco and safety temperature settings, but I hope your house isn't cold enough to reach the default values!
....and if you can post a screenshot of the app schedule, we may be able to check that there's nothing silly going on
