Could someone please tell me if this is the right product to put a cat 5e socket in my office, connected to my router (~ 30m away) with earthnet sockets.

As Crafty says, it will probably do the job. It would be better if you could tell us what kit you have and provide some details of the layout required.

Yes! Site one surface outlet near the PC, another near the router, connect with Cat5, using one RJ45 keystone in each, use a patch cord at each end to connect the outlets to (a) the Pc and (b) the router
