Hi this is my first post here apologies if these questions have already been asked.

I am looking for advise on an alarm system to be fitted into my home. The house is being newly built so no issues with running cables anywhere.

I have been looking at a texecom system or a risco agility. I would like to be able to set and disarm via a standard keypad but also an app for when I am not home and someone may need access. Also we have a 30kg to 35kg dog and a cat. The cat has the run of the house but the dog will be locked in a room. What is the best pet PIR sensor for this also is it possible when setting the alarm to isolate the area where the dog is kept.

Thanks in advance

Dan

I would go with the texecom
Are you pre wiring the house before plastering ?
The position of pet sensor near or looking towards stairs is an issue for you do not put the sensor in the right place.
Bosch Tirtec are good pet sensors
Various part set functions for set up for your pets
