Veritas (R8 - i think) PIR change

Afternoon all

we currently have a R8 alarm (i think) fitted to the house, during the day, our dog stays in the kitchen area that has a PIR fitted, the dog keeps setting the alarm off - so i have decided to change the PIR to a "dual technology" type

i have bought a Texecom "Premier Elite DT" PIR but i'm confused when trying to fit it.

the existing PIR connections dont match up to the new one?

will the premier elite pir work with an R8 alarm?

Your wasting your time with the texecom dt it's not pet tolerant you need a Bosch tritec around the £30 mark .... Other brands available...

The r8 doesnt do resistors and as already pointed out the dector you have specified isnt pet tolerant
