Hello,

We would like to renovate our bathroom.
House was built in 1984.

I wanted to know if in your opinion it is possible to remove the tiles
without having to go back to brick.

Regards,

Assuming youre sure it's a solid rendered brick wall.... Isnt that a suck it and see thing? You never know what to expect when taking off old tiles. You'll only have to go back to brick if the walls have "blown", as in the render comes away. If the walls were damp, the plaster might come off, that is if it was plastered at all, but usually only if the plaster had been previously re-skimmed in my experience. So... yes, usually you shouldnt worry about it, take the tiles off and the render "should" stay intact.
