New boiler with a warranty for life!

Subject to a Halstead annual service.....that they seem unable to give any details on cost 
and they still haven't sent the memory stick or information pack.
Just the latest boiler marketing gimmick....if they wind up the cost to say a £300 annual service how many customers are likely to carry on the contract?....none, so the lifetime warranties void. Still there's enough mugs out there that believe 2, 3, 5 or 10 year warranties are always honoured.

Sounds like a well known fire manufacturers life time guarantee.. Provided that the fire is serviced every year AND the oxypilot assembly is replaced every year... These days, all guarantees are a numbers game rather than any statement of quality

BG will replace a boiler of need be.
in extreme circumstances. it will be repaired until it literally falls off the wall.
