New build damp bricks

Hi. Hoping someone can offer some ideas here to help. I have a new build home with two areas of the house with a few damp bricks. No issues on the interior walls.
First photo has a couple of wet bricks in the middle of the wall, strange because it’s not wet above and the bricks below appear dry too. Although it’s starting to look a bit wet on the two bricks below the one in the photo too.
Photo 2 is at the side of the garage, the air brick seems to be wet but only after it’s rained. Could be rain getting in from the side I guess. But now the bricks above it appear a little damp on the outside. These phots were taken after a couple of days of rain, and the issues do seem worse after rain. Thanks for any help.

With the garage, water is running down the wall as per that white salt staining. Look up.

For the bay, that's indicative of damp from the cavity, but it could just be that the brick frog (holes on the bricks) are not full of mortar, but are holding water instead.
 
Sorry, should explain, the white mark is from when someone was cutting paving flags next to it and marked the wall.
