i have had new carpets fitted upstairs. when i came to re building my wardrobe and put it against the wall, it no longer sits level. it leans forward about 5 degrees and is a bit unstable. i figured this is because the grippers underneath the carpet at the skirting board make the height slightly higher than the rest of the carpet in the room, which is causing things to lean forward. is there anything i can do?

dont put it so close to the wall.

cut a small section out to allow for the imperfection
