Hi
Replacing old gravity boiler with Worcester condenser. Old boiler is located on wall in kitchen with vent going into wall on side of house.
Corgi bloke came yesterday and went thru proposed locations (airing cupboard, loft etc etc) but in view of additional roof and structural work we agreed to site the new one where the old one is.
All other things being equal does the location sound kosher? We have BG 3* star contract and they always report that the vent is in the wrong place when they come (in addition to boiler being non compliant etc etc which is true).
Final question is about power source. Apparently it's got to be an unswitched socket and they have suggested spurring of the double socket we have adjacent to the boiler. If they do this will we lose both of these sockets?
Many thanks for your time and assistance.
