as the new cable colors are not compulsory yet is it best to use the old red/black until i have to change, or go worth the new ones now. ?

just wondering what the pros would use given the choice

i'd say given the choice to use red/black for extending existing red/black installations but use brown/blue for rewires etc.

I'd lost so many tears to the pending death of the beloved Red and Black cables - the Brown and Blue does not have the same "affection" attached to it as Black and Red - they have been with us for a century perhaps - well understood by so many people.

very few people i kno actually kno the cable colours have changed.
