Hi All
Currently in the process of building a new extension and have the opportunity to get a satellite dish and use freesat. There is likely to be 4 tvs (maybe 5) run from this so from what i understand i will need to get an LNB accordingly.

This bit i get, thats fine, the issue i have here is where the cables go. Should they do direct to a tv or decoder box or should they go to a satellite outlet in each room. The reason i ask is i am not too sure where the tvs are going to end up in certain rooms yet and need to hide the cable but if i decide to move the tv at any point its going to be messy.

What does everyone do? I have seen satellite output boxes in rooms next to plugs etc, is there a big loss of signal with these or is it easier to just cable direct?

the simplest answer might be to run cables to different points in any room that you think you might move the tv position. if you are intending to use recording freesat boxes they will require two feeds to each box. i used faceplates like these
