We are in the middle of replacing our old integrated dishwasher.
While i was taking out the old unit it dawned on me that there is no fcu for it, so I isolated it via the trip switch on cu.
The dishwasher seem to be fed on its own dedicated 2.5mm spur direct from the cu to a single switched socket located behined the dishwasher.
Question
I don't really want to go through all the hassle of putting in an above counter fcu as it will mean chasing the wall new tiles etc.
In the cupboard where the cu is house can i install a new fcu into the supply cable next to the cu.
