New 14x6m extension going into a 2400sq ft house. The house is heated by a wood burning stove and oil with plastic pipes branch system.

In this new extension I'm thinking of a manifold for the rads instead of fittings under the floor.

Is it just a case of tee off the heating flow and return pipes to the new manifold and this will heat the new extension rads without having any negative effect on the main house heating system.

All depends on required size of rads, boiler output, layout etc.

The ideal would be to branch off the main 22mm backbone and centralise the take offs so the feeds are similar is lengths.
