Afternoon all,

Just after some advise we have moved into our new home around 2 months ago. We had the basic surveys on the hosue which showed nothing major. I have noticed smalls cracks and sloped walls in the hosue. Belive the house is around 30-50 years old now. We have hair line cracks in most rooms and quite a few single bricks outside have cracks in them. We live in the Cambridgeshire fen so pretty soft ground. Guessing this may be why the walls are out of line. New time home owener so just looking for some reasurance really...

photos below.

Thanks Eli.

Individual cracked bricks are not significant.

The internal plaster cracks appear to be related to heat or moisture changes, which would be typical with a change of occupants or season.

That sloped door frame has surely not just happened but been like it for years.

Hi Woody, yes the door frame hasn't just happened lol. Thanks for the advice.
