Hi, I have just had a new house built and am looking for an alarm system. I was an audio/video engineer and have installed some wired alarms previously so hope to be able to self install. I am torn between wired and wireless. I always feel wired is more reliable but dont really want to be trying to feed too many wires in my newly painted house. Its a fairly large house, I need front/back/patio door sensors (front/back doors are wood, patio is upvc), 4 PIR's, telephone notification of alarms. I have been looking at the Visonic Powermaster 10 & 30 ones, I wondered if anyone had experience of these? My budget is up to £1000 for everything, but preferably a bit less would be nice. 
Any suggestions on good systems?
Also are there any neat wireless door sensors, that can be fitted out of sight?
