I have power to an unused wall point and want to add a spotlight with a switch below.

Photo of supply covered and uncovered below.

I assume not notifiable, and (apologies for poor focus) can you tell by looking which wire needs to go to switch/light?

What circuit is that on, and where do the cables either side of it go?

You'll need a connection to all 3 conductors.

Depending on what the cables are for/where they go etc, you may need to keep them joined as they are.

As notifiable I got an electrician in. Now have beautiful new spots and can see all the dirt in kitchen.
