Hi,

Hopefully someone can help me as I seem to have confused myself.

I've just had a kitchen extension, have fitted all the new sockets fine and am now onto the lighting.

Trouble is, I want to have certain features I'm not sure how to achieve. I've looked ont he sticky at all the diagrams and not sure how to set this up so any advise would be great please....

I'll have 3 lights -
L1= breakfast area
L2= kitchen main
L3= Kitchen Rear/hall

I'll be using 2x Single Pole Double Throw Swiches -
SW1 in breakfast area
SW2 in kitchen rear/hall

Basically 1st switch on SW1 to switch breakfast light on (L1), 2nd switch on SW1 to switch 2x kitchen lights on (L2,L3)

Then in the rear hall, the second double switch (SW2).
The first part switches L2,L3 on, and the second part to switch L1 on.

I think I get it up to using more than one switch for a light, but its the fact that I would like to use two switches to control in effect 3x lights thats got me confuddled!!

As I say any help would be really welcomed.....I cant get a pro in as I dont have the money, but a leccy will be signing it off as part f the BC requirements.

Thanks peeps.....I'm off for a Ibuprofen!

If need be, I could upload a diagram that may explain it a little better.

Cheers ohms, or should I saw Holmslaw :)

Thanks BAS too, I do understand what you're saying, but I do work safe. I'm also an electronics technician so do have an idea, its just coz it's a funny setup for me that I dont understand.

Once I'm confident with how to do it properly with least amount of wires, I'll get it done. As I say I will get it signed off, and also will have a qualified leccy there when I do it - But I was just hoping to have used my noddle a little and show to him I can go away and find info. #

I'm one of these people who like to know how stuff works and the reasons behind it.
Believe me though, I wouldn't be attempting it if I didn't have a clue or was dubious that I wouldn't be safe.

Cheers again.
