Alright fellas, hope you can help me,

My old cooker plugged straight into the double socket above my units, but im getting a new kitchen next week and new oven and seperate hob, it is a 13 amp oven and 3 amp hob, will I be able to put a socket off the ringmain for the cooker with a fuse spur for the hob and another spur for the extractor?

Im am unable to rewire a seperate cooker switch because my mains is on the other side of the house and the floor upstairs is all laminated.

Am I right in thinking that?!

Are you really a spark?? Probably not or you would know the answer.
From your post I assume you are having a gas hob and the supply is for ignition only.
So the answer is yes.

Well , this is DIY forum. But you should be aware that you must inform your local authority before doing ANY electrical work in a kitchen. That's if you are going to do it yourself (or attempt it yourself).

If you need to find a tradesperson to get your job done, please try our local search below, or if you are doing it yourself you can find suppliers local to you.

Select the supplier or trade you require, enter your location to begin your search.
