Hi Folks
I've just had new laminate laid throughout the flat and while I like the look of the individual rooms I've noticed that the lines are not lined up properly from room to room and it's annoying me.
When you lok from the bedroom in to the hal etc it looks squint.
Is this a botched job?

Living Room Looks great.

No,it was Bare floor boards throughout.
Why they haven't lined it up I don't know.

Who did it? Can't be a Floorlayer ???
Always line up between rooms. Spend half hour setting out and you don't have problems

He's a joiner to trade and apparently lays floors all the time.
He did the living room area himself but then came back with his brother to help.
Can this be sorted without having to start again.
I've got a couple of extra packs of laminate left?

Even the beading is done wrong
Planks are laid wrong too, shouldn't be any header joints in line. Have to be random.
One room needs taking up and relaying to get in line

How do I get this fixed?
I got a hold of the joiner to come up and have a look at this and he said he knows what I'm talking about and it's because the walls aren't square and for it to be perfectly straight I would need to run it without door bars? That he treated each room individually and they aren't supposed to be perfectly in line?

Out of interest what did he charge you per m2 fitting.

For me you set out for the hallway then flow it through. If running out in a room you tell the customer.
Has to line up in doorway though

Dazlight. Is there a way I could send you a private message please?
Thanks.
