New Number Plate Fixing

Can I use any double sided tape for this or is it special stuff.

It's foam tape(I think it's 'closed cell' polyethylene you want), not just double sided tape. If the area is curved, you need the much thicker stuff, maybe 5 or 6mm.

Make sure you use an alcohol wipe on the car and the back of the plate first. Prep is the key.
