New patio pointing (moved from Projects)

hi there , I have recently had a new patio laid in Indian sand stone . Everything looked great until it was pointed . Since pointing was finished we have had heavy rain , snow and some frost ! Some of the pointing had cracked in parts , some pointing has started to crumble abit and look sandy and soft ! Do you think it stil needs time to dry out or do you think I should call the builder to tell him to come and re point it all ? Thankyou .
