Hi guys I'm after some help. I'm looking to build a porch on the front of my house it has a bay window at the front and I'm looking to put a new skin of bricks over the existing bay window bricks and then continue it along to create the porch, that bit I am ok with but after looking at it again tonight it suddenly struck me, how do I tie a window in with another window??? I'll attach a picture so it may hopefully make it a bit clearer. I'm also looking at putting a sloping roof in place of the flat one and having a vaulted ceiling in the bay window section, incase that has any effect on anything. Any help with a solution to the window would be great.

Thanks
Sean

I can't see your proposal working very well if done as a bolt on porch. Renewing the bay window with a porch addition at the same time would allow a better detail to be constructed but with the angled bay walls inside the porch it will most likely look a bit naff.

Alternatively have the porch out further than the bay so you have a clearer interface between the two i.e. A side porch window at 90 degrees forward of the middle bay window. But still it may not "look right".
