new rad

hi could any one help me I would like to add some rads to my system the main flow and return are 22 or 28mm and the of pipe to the rads are 15mm my question is when branching from the main flow and return do you have to come at a right angle to the pipe ie stright from main to elbow and drop to rad, or is it ok to drop from the main down and elbow across and elbow down to the rad, the reason i ask is because the main 28mm pipes are close together and difficult to bend over each other with a 15mm pipe.

many thanks for your reply tommy had to check because someone said the pump would not be able to pull the water back or my cause a flow restriction or air lock
