New rads, no hot water

And if it is not blocked you should get some water out!

How long did you have system drained for? If it was only for a few hours and was done following the hot water having been on, then you should still have had hot water in the cylinder - as it stays hot for a good while!

Check that your motorised mid-port valve is actually motoring across to the hot water setting. Put the hot water on only and manually operate the valve lever to different positions - this may free it up if it got jammed up with detritus. Get it into the hot water position and feel the pipe going to the cylinder to see if it starts getting hot, then wait for several minutes and feel the return pipe coming out of the cylinder to see if that gets hot too.
