I got a new roof done recently, it was an emergency so we went with one of the very few companies that are working at present. My worry is that At the back of the house the tiles don’t sit tight around the Velux window. The Same happens besides the dividing joint between my house and the neighbours‘ house. There is like an slope with that metal joint and then with the Velux window and I would say there is at least 1 cm separation in some tiles with the tile underneath. should I call the roofer back or am I too OCD?

wrong flashing kit used. should be an EDL (for slate) this is possibly edz or edw (for tiles)

Tell him its the wrong flashing kit and get it corrected.
The small cuts are not really good and have no rivets.
Double slates should have been used cut to width
You could send the picture to velux tech support and they will confirm.
