We have just replaced our roof but I was not happy with the state that the chimney flashing was left in by the contractor with damaged brickwork and poor detailing so withheld payment. See first photo.
They returned to rectify (second photo) it but there still appears to be a gap behind the flashing in the bottom left where water will get behind and overall just seems poor and carelessly done.
Is this acceptable?
