We are having a new two storey side extension.

The gable end is at the front of the house the new roof will connect to the existing roof at the side.

It will look like this.

Is there any tips

E.g. Do I get a roofer to do the whole roof? or would it be cheaper to get a carpenter in to do the structure and then a roofer to tile the roof?

Or am I going about it the wrong way?

Apparently a Fink Trussed Roof is cheapest can this be done on this type of roof extension

A joiner with trussed roof experience followed by a roofer.

Fink roof trusses are certainly the cheapest method and can be used on this type of extension. You can have them prefabricated off-site, but you're then at the mercy of your figures, so you need someone that knows what they're doing. Alternatively, as Alastair said, my preference would be to bring in a joiner with trussed roof experience followed by a roofer to tile the roof. Ideally, you need two specialists rather than a one-man band.
